[edit] When adding links to material on an external site, as you did to Hannah Montana, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. AussieLegend (talk) 11:30, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Ceren acar
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ceren acar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. First Light (talk) 04:41, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]We are not Bulbapedia. That means "Movie-15-poster" is not a good enough file name. Also, you never upload high resolution copyrighted images period and you must always attribute the image to some source.—Ryulong (竜龙) 01:27, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from The Hunger Games (film) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Jim1138 (talk) 04:58, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joe Cornish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Your addition to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. San Diego
[edit]Thanks for contacting me, though you should always sign your posts by adding a dash and four tildes (the "~" sign). Anyone and anything in the world can offer awards, but we don't WP:INDISCRIMINATEly list every minor regional or film club award. Oklahoma City's film critics issue awards. Central Ohio's film critics issue awards. Unlike those of a few major cultural or filmcentric centers such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and a few more, these regional awards are essentially meaningless — if you look at their roster of "critics," they include amateurs writing for penny-shoppers and non-notable local bloggers. As for the San Diego critics appearing at American Hustle, other stuff exists, and we're supposed to raise everything up to the highest standard, not bring articles down to lower standards. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:56, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
