Fair use rationale for Image:Example01.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Example01.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 21:18, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Image:EZ Solve Screenshot 01.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on Image:EZ Solve Screenshot 01.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:EZ Solve Screenshot 01.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Re: Image Deletion (?)
[edit]Sorted out, thanks for the heads up. You still need to write a fair use rationale for the new image though. :-) east.718 at 22:05, March 8, 2008
- No, it's not really enough. I spruced up the rationale for Image:Matlab7.4.png, and would have done so for the EZ Solve screenshot - but it doesn't seem to have an article? east.718 at 23:05, March 8, 2008
CPI Graphic
[edit]I added a POV template to the TTC article for the File:TTC_Historic_Cash_Fare_Price_Compared_to_Inflation.tif graphic. There is a talk entry. I don't know if you have the data available in the original for to redo the graphic and/or maybe my opinion is bogus. 70.48.209.247 (talk) 18:09, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of E-Z Solve
[edit]The article E-Z Solve has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
