Hello, and welcome to editing Wikipedia. I hope you will have a successful time here. However, there's a point relating to Wikipedia's style that you need to be aware of. Wikipedia doesn't give preference to any one national style of English, and you shouldn't change from the style which was originally used in an article unless there is a specific reason to do so. In fact the only good reason for doing so which is at all common is that the topic of an article relates to a particular country: for example it would not make sense to use anything other than US English in the article New York City. It equally makes no sense to impose American spelling on an article about an Indian subject, as for example replacing "labourer" and "organised" with "laborer" and "organized".
