Your edits of Waikanae
[edit]@Wonderfulpug: Thanks for your contributions towards improving the article Waikanae. It could do with some work. However, there are a few points about your edit that need comment.
- Please do not mark any significant change in content as a Minor edit. The only edits that should be marked as minor are spelling corrections, adding/removal of Wikilinks etc. Please see Help:Minor edit for the official position. It is not considered good practice to tag edits as minor when they are not, because some editors filter their watchlists to exclude edits tagged as minor, but would not want to miss seeing the kind of changes you have made.
- Please do not add external links into the body of the article as you did in several places. Your additions are direct external links, not citations. The only links permitted in the body of an article are properly formatted citations, or Wikilinks to other articles. The policy about external links is set out here: Wikipedia:ELBODY. To find out more about creating formatted citations, please see: Wikipedia:Citing sources
I have reverted your edit, but will provide some additional formatted citations based on the website links you had added._Marshelec (talk) 20:15, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
