Removing sourced info
[edit]Please do not remove sourced info with no discussion, as you did, at the article, The Wiz (film). All templates and categories you have removed with zero discussion from this page, were extensively backed up to WP:RS secondary sources. Please, do not repeat this type of inappropriate behavior pattern on Wikipedia again. Thank you. -- Cirt (talk) 18:54, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've seen the movie. It's not especially made for kids and it's not blaxploitation, not does it present est as part of popular culture. You might as well put an info box "Judaism in popular culture" on all of Steven Spielberg's films. (Also commenting on talk page.)Wolfview (talk) 19:11, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not based upon the personal opinions of Wikipedia editors, that would be a violation of WP:NOR. We use WP:RS secondary sources. -- Cirt (talk) 19:13, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Most Hated Family in America
[edit]I have done some research, expansion, and improvement at this article, as noted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Most Hated Family in America. It appears that a majority of the new comments to the AFD are also observing the improvements, and are thus commenting "Keep", citing these recent improvements in their comments. Perhaps you could revisit your position at the AFD page? Thank you for your time, -- Cirt (talk) 20:23, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for your work. I said at the begining of my AfD that the topic of the documentary was very notable (and overly noted BTW), and that BBC (also very notable) programs got lots of news media coverage -- as is proper. The UK has hundreds of newspapers and the show was also shown in other English speaking countries. Wolfview (talk) 22:40, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- So ... this means you will reconsider your "delete" position, at the AFD? -- Cirt (talk) 02:19, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- I was hoping some of the "voters" would reconsider the kind of language they indulged in during the discussion.Wolfview (talk) 23:47, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Wolfview, please note that your AFD nomination statement is at present inaccurate - specifically the text: "No secondary sources are given in the article. It is sourced to the program itself. Other sources are provided to give information on the church but they do not mention the TV program." As this has since been remedied, request that you please use strikeout to strikeout this inaccurate text in your AFD nom? Thank you, -- Cirt (talk) 19:51, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- I will go ahead as do that. Wolfview (talk) 19:53, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you. -- Cirt (talk) 20:01, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Continued deletion of sourced information from articles
[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sandra Lee (cook), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 15:22, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry that you missed my edit summary. I have reported the page to the BLP notice board. Wolfview (talk) 13:59, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Logging in
[edit]Just going forward, please remember to log in when you edit. IP edits, even if they're accidental, can be misread as an attempt to avoid scrutiny. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 16:35, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. I will have to stop posting from work then, which is probably a good thing anyway. Wolfview (talk) 16:37, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Merger proposal
[edit]I've suggested merging Divine Principle to Unification Church. Check out my reasoning on Talk:Divine Principle and see what you think. Steve Dufour (talk) 06:09, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
