Deletion discussion
[edit]I have initiated a deletion discussion for Michael Lawrence (writer). I do not necessarily believe that the article should be deleted, but at present it lacks adequate evidence of notability. You are free to contribute to the discussion, but you should mention your conflict of interest if you do. Maproom (talk) 09:44, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
Hello. Not sure if I'm in the right place for this, but if so, I see that edits to a page devoted to me (a children's author) have caused some concern, as in the following:
1. A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (August 2015)
2. This article is an autobiography or has been extensively edited by the subject or by someone connected to the subject. It may need editing to conform to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. There may be relevant discussion on the talk page. (August 2015)
It sounds as if this is my fault, being unaware at the time that small corrections could not be made by the subject. The website shown for me was out of date, so I corrected it. I also added a couple of books that few other people would know about. These edits presumably set alarm bells ringing. Is there some way that these worries could be cleared away please?
I see that there are a couple of 'citation needed' notices on that page too. I'm sure I could provide the necessary citations if needed.
Best wishes, Michael Lawrence (writer) Withern (talk) 14:56, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
