Disambiguation page edits
[edit]Thank you for your interest in improving disambiguation pages, but please stop adding songs that are not mentioned in any Wikipedia article, as you did in this edit and several others. Disambiguation pages are for indexing topics that have, or are discussed in, Wikipedia articles, not for any use anywhere. If the songs/albums are notable, please create the article first.—ShelfSkewed Talk 12:56, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

Page moves
[edit]Can you not move long-standing pages to disambiguated titles unilaterally, like you did with Cathy's Clown and If You Leave Me Now? First, in most cases they are the primary topic, and when you do it, you don’t seem to make any attempt to fix the links that then point to the disambiguation page. Please consider using WP:RM for a proper discussion. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 06:19, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
- I fully agree with Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars - such unnecessary moves are disruptive, and if you feel that there is a need for such a move to take place, you should discuss the move beforehand. Vmanjr (talk) 20:10, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
- I also agree. I am a big fan of disambiguation pages, but your recent move of Puppet on a String (Sandie Shaw song) did not improve Wikipedia and has caused a great deal of work fixing the 527 articles which you left linked to the disambiguation page. A quick search will show that almost all references are to the Eurovision winner which reached number one in the UK and many other countries, rather than an obscure Elvis single which peaked at 14 in the US. In Wikipedia jargon, there is a primary topic. If in any doubt, please ask more experienced editors first, using the established Requested move procedure. Certes (talk) 22:23, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Mocca (band) songs
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Mocca (band) songs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation page entries
[edit]We've been here before, but please stop adding disambiguation page entries like this one that deceptively link redirects that point to articles that don't mention the listed song. Disambiguation pages are meant to be navigation aids to information available on Wikipedia. If the song isn't actually mentioned in a Wikipedia article, it shouldn't be listed on the disambiguation page. You know this. Please, just stop.—ShelfSkewed Talk 14:31, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Simple Love (disambiguation)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Simple Love (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 20:41, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
