Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Control copyright icon Hello Wiseman 132, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Tablighi Jamaat have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 11:45, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm AaqibAnjum. I noticed that you recently removed content from Jama Masjid, Nerul without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Request reason:

Hi its wise man132.i just came to know that I have been indefinably blocked me on editing Wikipedia.it states that I have been blocked due to “clearly not being here to build an encyclopedia”. This block is unjust to me. I started editing on encyclopedia with the sole intention of improving articles, especially related to Sunni Islam/Deobandi as I have got much knowledge/resources about it. As I am a new user I committed some minor mistakes because I didn’t know much of the rules and protocols out here. Regarding the most obvious edits due to which a block has been put on me, I noticed a lot of improvement could be done on the Tablighi jamaat article and I did a bit of editing in the article. Most of them were minor edits. I had done 2 major edits but both of them had been subject to scrutiny and had been fixed by other editors. As mentioned above, this happened due to my limited knowledge of the rules out here. Gradually I started to get to know about the rules and increased my skills to help me with the edits. Going back to the edits, I would like to clearly state that all of this has been done in good faith. I even had asked for help from User talk:AaqibAnjum,User talk:ChamithN to help me with the edits as I am a new user(I came to know about the adopt thing after getting blocked). Moreover, I tried to improve many articles(by adding links, fixing typos)on whom I had randomly stumbled across. Whenever any experienced user reverted my edits, I compiled without indulging in any unethical behaviour. I wasn’t even given any warning nor was I warned about any of my objectionable behaviour (as felt by the administrator) which led to the block. All of this clearly shows that I had come here to improve Wikipedia in the best of my ability and not due to any personal interest or any of the stated reasons in the block. All the mentioned above can be crosschecked to ensure my authenticity. I would like to ensure the administrators that I will try to follow the regulations here as much as possible and perform my contributions as per the stated rules and regulations. I would also like to apologize for any objectionable behaviour by me. Finally, I would like to request the administrator to remove the ban put on me asap as this would encourage me to further improve my contributions thanksWiseman 132 (talk) 21:28, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:37, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
