Fixed nom
[edit]Hey, I fixed the nomination for Tom Crabtree (journalist) for you. Just to let you know, there's a template that you have to place in the AfD entry page that will bring up the article name along with the deletion rationale. It was a small fix and otherwise you did everything right. You can find the template here, along with other little bits of info. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:52, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dwelling in Beulah Land, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page In the Garden (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Journalistic notability

Don't worry about it
[edit]Trust me when I say I don't have any hard feelings. If Ari Wolfe just called college football and basketball games, then I'd be more than willing to say he should be deleted. However the fact that he covers the Olympics changes that tone completely for me, and the fact that he is employed by CBS Sports, NBC Sports, and ESPN simultaneously makes it where he is seen more often than a person like Joe Buck. I don't see people nominating Joe Buck for deletion because he has called the Superbowl and the World Series. To me the Olympics are just as big as these two events, so I see Wolfe as more than qualified for the notability guide.
I'll also admit the reason I tried not to have Robbie Bullough deleted so much is because I created the page. It was really the fact that he has worked for only 1 station that led to his deletion. Compare that to Dave McCann or Blaine Fowler who also work for BYUtv. McCann was the morning host for a station in Vegas and was the play-by-play voice for UNLV for years. He also worked with SportsWest Productions (a sports group based out of Salt Lake that produced regional games for the MWC and WAC) and currently is one of the evening news hosts for KSL in Salt Lake City. Fowler has worked more than 300 college football games and works for NBC Sports Network in addition to his work at BYUtv. They aren't famous announcers, but they are notable announcers because of the stations they work for and whom they have replaced. To me Wolfe needs the additional resources, but he should be recognized due to his involvement in the Olympics.Bigddan11 (talk) 02:47, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
Fenenbock
[edit]Please explain how this guy meets notability guidelines, here Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael C. Fenenbock. --bender235 (talk) 10:14, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- It looks improved and I should say well referenced or otherwise I would go for delete for AfD Fenenbock. WisconsinBoyClevelandRocks228844 (talk) 12:58, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
