CSkibba07 This looks good so far. Your research is starting to prove that there is no deterring effect by having the death penalty in place. You should however, have some studies that prove it does deter crime if such studies do exist
I appreciate the use of differing points of view on the topic. A few small grammatical errors. Kdrost09 (talk) 22:34, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
Good job getting information about deterrence but as the above comment you should get both sides. Jessben12 (talk)
Good start with multiple resources...keep it up! AHughes08 (talk) 22:19, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
Very nice start! I think you have plenty of information for a solid literature review! Cbrignull07
This is an interesting topic with viewpoints that are clearly defined. You paragraphs included both of them, which is good. It will be interesting to see how this project develops over the course of the semester. Good luck! Swpols410 (talk) 19:41, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Similar to what most people are writing, you really do have a great start and appear to be getting good information from your resources. One think I was curious to know more about was, in the Bailey article, what were some of the criticisms he point out in the first study he talked about? Ytfig11 (talk) 23:09, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
A solid start with good information. It seems like it is hard to sell the science behind the arguments on either side of this debate. I interested to see the result of your research. Trens07 —Preceding undated comment added 19:00, 21 February 2011 (UTC).
An interesting study, I am curious to see what new findings you could add to what has already been done. A few good qualitative sources so far. Jlinehan07 (talk) 19:40, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
You've got a really good start! Just a note: If you're citing sources, you might want to do them with the Wikipedia references syntax. This will be probably be covered in class, so in the meantime you can check out this video on using RefTools (A quicker way to add references). Good start. Your review seems to be fairly comprehensive, and examines both sides of the issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sjmiller6748 (talk • contribs) 03:00, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
As many peers have shared, you are examining multiple views which is essential. Within the body of the review of literature continue citing your sources....already have a strong start. Erhall (talk) 17:17, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
