Parrot trade
[edit]Citation clarification
[edit]In your recent article on International parrot trade (excellent article, by the way -- lots of good information!) you referenced a report in the US International Trade Commission's database, but you only provided a URL to the ITC's home page. Can you provide a more exact URL to the actual report so other editors can check and verify your facts? Thanks! WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:22, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
- The information for both the USITC and CITES databases is only available if you've made a free account for each website, so unfortunately I can't provide a direct link to the data I used to make my graphs. Is there an alternative to providing a direct link? Willgregjohnson (talk) 21:02, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
- Is it possible to provide a direct link which would work if one were signed in with an account? That is what usually happens with subscription links. Blue Rasberry (talk) 22:24, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

A cup of coffee for you!
[edit]It is not often I see someone register for a new account then drop an awesome article down like International parrot trade. Great content, citations, and especially graphs! You must not be a new user, right? Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:47, 21 February 2012 (UTC) |
DYK for International parrot trade
[edit]On 26 February 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article International parrot trade, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that in the 1980s, an estimated 50,000 to 150,000 neotropical parrots were illegally imported annually into the United States? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/International parrot trade. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
