Hi. You accidentally (well, probably deliberately :-) changed the publication date of the seminal Jevons textbook on the subject from 1874 to 1974. I changed it back. It's more than possible someone has sprung a despicable hoax on Wikipedia, but Googling I find mucho corroboration of 1874, and no support for 1974. [1] Please thwack me with a cluestick if I'm wrong.
