If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Suburban Commandos requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Moogwrench (talk) 01:07, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

First off, I don't mean any disrespect to you.

Second, I did not delete your article, I merely nominated it for speedy deletion because a substantial amount of time had passed since its creation and it met the criteria for speedy deletion. If you wish to talk to the administrator who deleted it, I would recommend that you contact them and perhaps they can help you in some way, perhaps through userfication or emailing the links that you had in the article.

Third, I nominated it for speedy deletion, like I said, because it met the criteria (A3 or A7): it was just a essentially just a collection of links without any article body (just an infobox with very limited information) that made no reference to the importance of the subject (a group or a club or some organization of real people). In Wikipedia, an article has to credibly articulate the importance/notability of its subject. If an article cannot do this, and essentially had no content, then it is liable to be speedily deleted.

If you need help, then I can help you. First examine the guideline on notability regarding your subject, though, to make sure it is notable and a suitable topic for Wikipedia. Then ensure that you have reliable sources that can verify the information you wish to put in your article. This will go a long way to ensuring that the content you add to Wikipedia remains. Again, let me know if I can help.
