Removing content
[edit]Please do not remove content from Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - ulayiti (talk) 12:58, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Please dicsuss a better place for them in the article, they don't seem appropriate for the lead section: Talk:Scotland#Wikinorthernireland's additions. Thanks/wangi 17:31, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure why you posted an apology on my talk page - I don't think I have bothered with the Glasgow page! You should sign posts with four tildes (~~~~) (or press the little sig button at the top of the edit page) - that way other editors will know who has posted the comment. [edit]Please try to remain NPOV and stop adding things which are POV or clearly aren't encyclopedic. You've not quite got to vandalism yet but it's close. Robertsteadman 17:59, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Archive not delete
[edit]Please don;t delete comments on talk pages (even your own) - it's better to archive: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#When_there_is_too_much_text

[edit]Hi, it's not really appropriate to copy and paste chunks of text from other websites. It may not be a copyright violation in this case, but if you are quoting from a press release you should make that clear. In this instance I think it's best to provide a short sentence and a link to the press release. Stu ’Bout ye! 15:00, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article St. Colum's Primary School, Portstewart may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, all users are entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. - Kookykman|(t)e 18:15, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
