Follow-Up to Post
[edit]The purpose of the article is to give an outsider the basics of a Nerf war. Your rules are not widely adopted, and your 'blaster evaluations' aren't useful. I'm not being 'asininie', I'm being honest. Just because your content was unique doesn't mean it's useful.
Which wars have you been to? If you've really played Mil-Sim Nerf at large-scale, organized wars, your information may be useful. In all of the ones I've heard about and gone to (Apocalypse, Massacre, CHANO, Season of Foam, etc) Mil-Sim Nerf is not only avoided, it's actually looked down upon.
Most importantly, I can't really understand why ANYONE would appreciate your 'blaster evaluations' - Most of them aren't even true! The Raider is not full-auto, the Spartan is not in production, and the mechanisms of the Longshot and Recon are totally different. In addition, you throw around terms like 'accuracy' and 'range' without providing any sort of hard data. These shouldn't even be in this article - they have nothing to do with wars!
If you want to read up on the Nerf Internet Community, browse NerfHaven.com, chat on #nerfchat in irc.darkmyst.org and maybe participate in some wars. See what the NIC thinks. I'm called Zack the Mack in the NIC, so feel free to find me online. STABiLiZED (talk) 16:15, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Stop Editing NERF Wars!
[edit]Dude, stop adding your ridiculous "Mil-Sim" Nerf information to the NERF Wars page. It's badly-written, and you made it up. If you continue to post your asinine article and engage in edit wars, the Wiki admins will shut the page down! The only thing you will do is get the Nerf Wars page deleted. Do not use Wikipedia as your own amateur Web site! If you want to see what a REAL Nerf war is like, head down to Apocalypse on 08/01/09. STABiLiZED (talk) 15:48, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- This is a little extreme. Admins do not shut down a page because some editors are adding invalid content. Pages are shut down (deleted) because the topic isn't appropriate for a Wikipedia article in any way shape or form. You're welcome to edit the Nerf wars article as much as you like, you just need to be sure that your edits are in compliance with policies like WP:Verifiability and WP:What Wikipedia is not. -Verdatum (talk) 18:16, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Nerf warfare
[edit]The article Nerf warfare has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A personal essay with no reliable sources
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Accounting4Taste:talk 21:43, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey there
[edit]I'm NerfGUNNER06, and just to tell you the Raider is not full-auto. To shoot fast, the Raider requires you to hold down the trigger and continually pump the front grip back and forth, where as a fully automatic blaster does not. (ex:Vulcan EBF-25). Also, I do not fully believe that the Spartan is in production. It was just some blaster in a video game. I'm not trying to be mean, I just want to tell you this stuff. Do you have a Wikihow account? Me too. I am AceOfSpades06. Check out my page! I will be happy to listen to what you say on my talk page. NerfGUNNER06 (talk) 21:29, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
