Speedy deletion nomination of HMS Wasp (1880)
[edit]A tag has been placed on HMS Wasp (1880) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. RadioFan (talk) 16:27, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
December 2009
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from HMS Wasp (1880), a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. RadioFan (talk) 16:29, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
Misha B
[edit]Hi i actually wrote the misha b controversy section on the Xfactor 8 page. I also did the original link to it from the list page. It was also originally on the misha b page..a little bit wordier. ...but I was advised to remove it as BLP admin's advised. I do think it was a baseless accusation and increasingly irrelevant but understand others think otherwise. ...Zoebuggie☺whispers 21:09, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
- This edit and the edit summary were wholly inappropriate. If you make another edit like that to this article or any other article, or if you personally attack an editor as you did in the edit summary, you may be blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:29, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
The allegations were a major news item during the course of the X Factor Series 8. Systemically removing every mention of the Bullying Allegations from this article, no matter how they are referenced, and accusing another editor of relying on Gutter Press sources is wrong. "Increasingly Irrelevant" is not the same as non factual and unreferenced Zoe and you immediately remove every reference to the bullying allegations having occured. They did. It was a big entertainment news story during November 2011 in the UK media. Wikimucker (talk) 19:38, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- Some of your contributions to Misha B page are unhelpful, biased and appear to be now entering vandalism....Zoebuggie☺whispers 22:39, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 2014 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

Eddie Rockets
[edit]Wikimucker,
I noticed you reverted my change to the Eddie Rockets article. Do you have any evidence that the Eddie Rocket's name has not changed to Rockin' Joes?
And how dare you accuse me of vandalizing a page! How dare you! I was in these outlets I saw with my own eyes that they have changed their name. I am just reporting what I have seen on the ground. I was there man, so are you telling me that I was hallucinating that the name had changed?
Can you please explain yourself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jlonergan (talk • contribs) 17:24, 10 September 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Maura Hopkins
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Maura Hopkins requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Omni Flames let's talk about it 11:32, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

The article John Crowe (Irish politician) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non notable local politician, a member of a county council in Ireland. Fails WP:NPOL and WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
