[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Devil Doll (band) has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\baltervista\.org' (link(s): http://ilprigioniero.altervista.org/artn6.htm) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Don Shinn
[edit]Hi, I saw you created two virtually identical articles on Don Shinn: Don Shinn and Don Shinn (musician). I've copied the contents of Don Shinn (musician) (which had a bit more info) onto Don Shinn and made Don Shinn (musician) a redirect to Don Shinn. I trust that is in order. If no article exists for a person, there is no need to add a qualifier, in this case, "(musician)". —Bruce1eetalk 11:04, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited The Tony Williams Lifetime, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ego (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Help needed with 'Bob James-rock singer' bio
[edit]I have just created a biography for rock singer Bob James, former vocalist for Montrose. There is a citation for him on the Montrose page, but I could not link that citation with my bio. In addition, note that 'Bob James' is also the name of a well-known jazz keyboardist who has a Wiki bio. If someone can help merge my bio with the existing 'Bob James-rock singer' citation on the Montrose page I'd be grateful :) . Thanks, Wikimonstro /
Update April 23, 2012: Problem fixed---I believe. Any help or suggestions that can be provided by veteran Wiki users is appreciated. / Wikimonstro~~
- My suggestion is that, in future, please don't ever copy text from one article to another and then redirect the old article to the other title. That breaks up the editing history, which we need to keep intact for legal and other reasons. Instead, if you cannot move the page to the new title by yourself, you can ask for help at WP:RM. Thanks. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 14:30, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Re: Montrose - Paper Money album
[edit]Hi. The Led Zeppelin II article does contain reviews, but they are reviews done by professional reviewers in well-known publications (i.e. reliable sources). The focus is not so much on the content of the review, or what they actually think about the album, but just that it attracted enough attention to be reviewed in these magazines. Hope this helps, ... discospinster talk 14:57, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Deadbeef. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to The Polite Force (band), because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Deadbeef 05:39, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Tapping, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. DKqwerty (talk) 23:41, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
