Given your username, it appears you have a conflict of interest in editing the Wikipedia article Colin Craig. I suggest you read WP:COI, and stay away from editing that article or related ones.-gadfium 22:05, 9 April 2016 (UTC)

The article John Stringer (Christchurch) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Formal Dude (talk) 04:28, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Wikijohnstringer. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Colin Craig, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Mattlore (talk) 03:28, 2 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]I have unblocked you, as your email to me indicates that you understand that you have "a perceived conflict of interest" and you have volunteered to make suggestions for improvement of the article on Colin Craig rather than edit it directly. My unblock is conditional that you do not edit Colin Craig or New Conservative Party (New Zealand) and closely related articles.
I do not wish to make edits on your behalf, so please do not email me suggested changes to these articles. However, you are welcome to post to the talk pages of these articles (e.g. Talk:Colin Craig) with requests for changes, and I have asked editors who are active on articles relating to New Zealand politics to discuss improvements with you there and edit those articles in the light of those discussions.
If you believe my conditions are excessively onerous, you may post to Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard or Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents asking for a change.-gadfium 19:55, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
- You have made edits to Colin Craig in breach of the conditions I set above, so I have reblocked you.-gadfium 05:14, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
