Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Wikibiohistory! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. Roman families
Hello!
Great work on the article on Scipio Calvus. It's heartening to find another user that's interested in things long outdated. Drop me a line sometime - I'd be interested to see what you're working on now. akendall 04:09, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- In fact it wasn't me that added the box above to your userpage. I am also a returned editor, who has only been "re-active" on Wikipedia for 2 months or so. I'd be more than happy to help you with any questions you have, though, and look forward to helping with your edits on Roman Republican biographies. It's a subject that's very interesting to me - especially those who are mentioned in Livy (who isn't?). Anyhow, let me know what I can be of assistance with. Best wishes - akendall 21:48, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- BTW, you said you hadn't taken any Latin...here's a good online Latin to English dictionary. It may help you out with some of the cognomina. akendall 21:53, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. I finally was able to check that page out, and it is a great help to confirm or look up translations of cognomina (not to mention other stuff). And I put my name down for the Wiki Classical Project, although my spare time is getting less and less. I think I am beginning to get the hang of things of Wiki a bit more, although I am also good at messing up minor stuff. wikibiohistory 11:02, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Haha! It's always the details, isn't it? Keep up the good work - and feel free to tell me about projects that come up that you think I might like. =) akendall 00:08, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- As I noted on one of the talk pages, I can help with the Livy citations for the articles in your Sandbox. I'll work on them on Monday when I get home. akendall 00:11, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
