User talk:Wikiaccount10
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Wikiaccount10, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some tips that you might find helpful:
- Link to other articles with double square brackets
- Here are some articles where you can practice adding links to other articles. When you've got at least two blue links in the article you can remove the code from the top of the page.
- Add pictures from Wikimedia Commons using thumb for thumbnail|Left, right or center so it knows where to go|a meaningful caption|alt=a description for blind people
- Example
- Click here for an exercise in adding images to articles.
- Now you know how to add pictures to Wikipedia, why not add your own? This shows you articles that are near you. Is there one without a picture or where you could take a better one? In many countries modern buildings are still copyrighted, but not in the UK and some other places. This is the upload page on Wikimedia Commons.
- Add headings with ==double equal signs==
- If an article has sections two editors can edit different sections simultaneously without edit conflicts. Four or more sections and you get a table of contents.
- Here are articles where you can practice adding sections when you've finished splitting an article into sections you can delete from the top of the page.
- ===subheadings are similar===
- When you add information to Wikipedia please summarize things in your own words, and tell us where you got the information from in the following format
- If you find unreferenced information on Wikipedia that you consider dubious or unlikely, first try to reference it yourself. If you know it is wrong, correct it, if you can't find a source then fact adds the famous [citation needed]. If, after a week no-one has referenced the information, feel free to remove it.
- Double single quotes gives you Italic and triple quotes Bold.
Many Wikipedians organise themselves by subject area, we have hundreds of WikiProjects ranging from Arts to Zoology, and I'm sure there will be ones that fit your interests. A good place to look for them is Category:WikiProjects by topic, alternatively the talkpages of articles you are interested in may have links to relevant Wikiprojects.
Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this adds your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, visit The Teahouse, ask me on my talk page, or , and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! ϢereSpielChequers 16:33, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:13, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Killibrium
[edit]Hello Wikiaccount10,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Killibrium for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Orphaned non-free image File:Killibrium cover photo for infobox.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Killibrium cover photo for infobox.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:49, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Wikiaccount10. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Nikhil Venugopalan, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the request edit template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. GSS (talk|c|em) 14:56, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
Nikhil Venugopalan moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Nikhil Venugopalan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Thank you. GSS (talk|c|em) 14:58, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
Disclosure required
[edit]Hello Wikiaccount10, I wanted to remind you that you appear to have a conflict of interest in editing Nikhil Venugopalan. Please re-read the information about editing when you have a conflict of interest and considering not making further direct changes to these pages. Also, please do not move Draft articles into mainspace yourself. Articles should be reviewed by an experienced editor to ensure that Wikipedia standards and policies are met. I have moved the article back into draft space. Please submit it for review when it is fully supported by reliable independent references and not before. Thank you. GSS (talk|c|em) 05:28, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
The article Akoori (web series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable web series with no significant coverage in reliable sources and no evidence of satisfying WP:NFILM. Please note current sources are not reliable except mid-day.com and scroll.in (interview) which is insufficient to support notability and notable cast members do not grant notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. GSS (talk|c|em) 05:40, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
The article Amrit Singh (Bollywood) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
An article with so many claims to notability but there are no independent sources to back them up and current sources provide nothing but a passing mention. Fails WP:NACTOR and WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
