Hi. I am a person in the U.S. with English as a primary language. I also know a little Latin and have a Latin Wikipedia account. Even though I am not Cherokee and know little of the language, I participate in the Cherokee Wikipedia project as well. (All have the user account Wikiacc.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiacc (talk • contribs) 17:03, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Sorry, that's not the way the talk page works. Perhaps you are confusing your talk page, which is the way people communicate with you, with your user page, which is where users have generally untrammelled sway to put what they like?
I've restored the paragraphs you deleted at United States. If you are going to delete material, it's customary to give some indication of why, either in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. - Nunh-huh 19:51, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Yes, I did not realize I was typing on the Talk page, I thought I was typing on the user page. Call me an amateur.
At United States I wanted to reduce the page size below 30 KB, and the information was repetitive with main articles for the sections. I forgot to put this on the talk page. Call me an amateur again. - Wikiacc 14 Jul 2004
Discussion with Zircean
I wonder why you were typing under discussion anyway.
...
Wait, I can call you an amateur? AHA! AMATEUR!... not. Hey, why don't you go listen to MAX 300. Awesome song. I fixed that article, btw. See ya around.
Posted by Zircean | 3:09 pm GMT | Nov 7 2004
- OK Zircean...
- There are HR tags for a reason. Use them.
- If you just do four tildes you can make it say all the data. It's too much work to put them in by hand, at least for most people.
- I was an amateur in July. It is November as of this writing...
- Have you subscribed to the mailing list yet?
- If you check out my old IP address, 24.186.144.226 you will find numerous edits made by me before I had an account.
In fact, you are the one who's the most amateur-like here. And by fixed that article, I hope you didn't mean you POVed it. I hope.
- Frank 20:44, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Wow. If you were an amateur in July then change it! There's an "edit this page" button for a reason you know. BTW, it was not a political article. In fact, I haven't touched one political article (yet)! Also, I can't. It says be neutral somewhere. Agh, I forgot, but it doesn't matter.
Zircean 20:50, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
P.S. Yay for tildes.
- I don't want to change what I was back in July, I said that I was an amateur to Nunh-huh and that is what I was. I don't want to change what I said. And even though you may have not touched a political article yet, NPOV applies in ALL articles. In fact, I am thinking of making it required reading for everybody in the paper (that's how important it is)... Also, PLEASE don't make my HTML into XHTML. Wikipedia is HTML 4.0 and by making the tags self-close you are making the validity of the page screw up. - Frank 21:06, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I though you were Mr. Technical. Jeez! You're the one complaining when we don't do correct XHTML 1.0 on the Bitmap Project. BTW, I didn't POV anything. Period. Especially since the article for MAX 300 is an article for a song, how do you POV a song? You logic escapes me. What I meant is since that article was a stub (I think) I made it full-length. - Zircean 00:56, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Maybe I should make some rules about posting on my talk page.
(See top)
Well, that was then. If you want to make the page HTML 4.0, do it, just make sure it's valid. XHTML is my personal choice, but you won't get an edit war every time the document type changes.
- Frank 02:24, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- K, I'm following your format. !Forget what I put here, it doesn't matter now! Zircean 21:42, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Collaboration of the Week
Your vote for African art has helped bring about the article's selection as this week's Collaboration of the week. Please join in trying to make the article a feature.
- Yay, it made it. I will be working on it over the week, don't worry. - Wikiacc 02:17, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Thank You
Hi Wikiacc, the last few months you hit several articles that are on my watchlist and I came across you at CSB. Additionally, you cleaned up African languages yesterday (I think I was guilty of the to do list in the middle of that article). I just want to say that I like your work. For all the good things that you have been doing I give you this sunflower. Keep it up! Kind regards, — mark ✎ 09:10, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- You're very welcome. Wikiacc 20:13, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Kannada
Hello, I just noticed that you've edited the html drastically on the page Kannada which took lot of pain while writing. see diff Moreover, you've erased the official color code that was listed in the table. I'm sure you have explanations for your edits. --H P Nadig 00:46, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, I do have explanations.
- For the HTML editing: At Wikipedia:WikiProject Languages we are trying to get all language infoboxes to use Template:Language for standardization reasons and so that we can keep track of it. Also note that it is the format that it is supposed to be used, according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Language Template.
- For the color code: the color for the tables are standardized per language family. The Dravidian languages all use mediumspringgreen and therefore Kannada, being a Dravidian language, should use it too. (See a similar discussion at Talk:Venetian language).
- I hope that answers your questions. Wikiacc 03:01, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- I'm still unsure of why you removed the official flag color that was in the info box as well. Will you be kind enough to put it back? I see that the color code "mediumspringgreen" is just a suggestion for the dravidian languages on Wikipedia:WikiProject Languages. We can surely work on it and set a color comfortable to the user's eyes and which wouldn't drag much attention away from the article. Its a shame your descriptions made me guess that someone has assumed some official code for all dravidian languages, thats the reason I had to show my concern over it. Now, over the infobox design, I still fail to guess why you removed the design that looked 'good'. --H P Nadig 17:50, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Mongolian alphabet
Could you please explain how Mongolian alphabet fits into Category:Languages of China? Wikiacc 21:34, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)
1. The Mongolian lanugage used to be written with a derivative of Han characters, from Khitan language.
2. Mongolia was part of Chinese history.
3. There are sizeable Mongolian speakers in present-day Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the PRC.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.61.115.185 (talk • contribs) 16:38, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Wheels
Are you the same person who I remember putting "On wheels" in article titles?? Georgia guy 01:40, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- If you're referring to my edit on the Sandbox, don't worry, I am not the infamous vandal. If I affected any other articles in any way by that edit, please tell me so. If you take a look at my contribs you will see nothing of the sort. I am sorry if I alarmed you. Wikiacc 01:44, Jun 2, 2005 (UTC)
Hm.. you were trying to add my image I had uploaded to the southeast airlines page at the same time I was. It's quite odd to see a conflict with someone else trying to add the picture you just uploaded yourself. -Zzxcnet 18:53, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)]]
- I was just browsing around the list of recent changes and noticed your upload. I don't think I caused any problems, though. :D Wikiacc (talk) 20:21, Jun 22, 2005 (UTC)
Another Thank You
Hi, I'm just writing to thank you for your (entirely unexpected!) welcome message. Ironically, I'm only slightly "new" to Wikipedia, having made (admittedly minor) edits already... it just took me a long time to pick a username. So I'd already many of those articles, ha ha. Anyway, thank you for your friendliness! ..MrHumperdink 17:58, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- You're welcome. It's always nice to be greeted to Wikipedia, and I hope you continue your work. Wikiacc (talk) 18:00, Jun 23, 2005 (UTC)
Yet another thank you, it is nice to be greeted :) Three 21:11, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Me too, thanks for the welcome links, i access from lotsa comps so its good tohave 'em all in one spot... Yay for tildes.Kilr0y 17:57, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
You welcomed me on my talk page as well. I'd allready been registered for two months, and had been making changes before that. I might not be too active, but I am not, and was not, by any means new. I'm wondering how you decided to leave a that welcome message for me, because I didn't exactly need it. :P The Computer Mutt 11:50, August 10, 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry for not responding quickly. I didn't notice your comment until now.
- I find people to welcome usually by looking for users without talk pages at the list of recent edits or my watchlist. If the user has not been particularly active, or has only made contributions recently, I will usually welcome the user.
- If you thought yours was unneeded, I apologize and ask you to consider it a late welcome. :P --Wikiacc (talk) 18:40, August 16, 2005 (UTC)
re: some image copyright violation image of a train
My bad sir, allow m to apologise. I was pretty new at uploading images, and just uploaded them willy-nilly, so it's likely to be infriging. just delete it..... Supersaiyanplough|(talk) 08:34, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
- Please remember to make sure images you upload in the future do not infringe. Thanks! --Wikiacc (talk) 12:28, July 29, 2005 (UTC)
Tsalagisation and deletion threats and ᎭᏡ ᎦᏧ ᎭᏢ ᎡᏤ?????
Do you have any idea how to get ahold of Etse and/or get another management type appointed for the Tsalagi Wikipedia, so at least a start can be made at replacing the static, outdated, woefully English content on the ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏍᏗ with at least a facsimile of ᏣᎳᎩ? Did you see the recent activity there with broadband speedy deletion notices? --Haruo 08:24, 2 August 2005 (UTC)
- Node ue has discussed the deletion notices and Tsalagisation with me previously; see chr:User talk:Wikiacc and chr:User talk:24.251.198.251. Etse has not responded to recent messages, and has not been very active on any Wikipedia (last activity was deletion of own userpage in May 2005). (Etse is the only admin; see chr:Special:Listadmins.) As Etse is not contactable via the Wikipedia email system, I would draw the conclusion that contact is not possible. --Wikiacc (talk) 19:30, August 2, 2005 (UTC)
Why removing Chief Vann House picture?
I worked for National Park Service before and the pictures that they set were not "copyrighted" but as shown what the museums are. In fact, Rangers I worked with were given me pictures of Ford Theatre including one in my homepage. I have few pictures on my digital camera including Chief Vann House and the site of cemetry with two markers where the Battle of Adairsville was happened but I am not trust you with that but the pictures I have in digital camera are my copyright and let me know when I get "permission" to post them. I have another picture of Vann from local newsletter in 1980s. I believe that encyclopedia should have pictures of images to show educational lessons for people to learn. Removing Christ's picture off Christ Jesus or removing Star Trek's Enterprise off Star Trek Enterprise articles will be insulted to educational knowledge and culture no matter the policy you stated. This site does not pay me to post articles and pictures that most people needs. I post them as free to people who learn. If you want me to do, you pay me. Let me know about the pictures. I do not do free job for you and others of Wikipedia repeated. I am very angry that "discrimination" article does not recongize disabilites including deaf and blind people as an insult so you should change that too. Georgia discriminated FDR at Warm Spring when he was 39 years old because of his polio. I also try to work on other articles like Rydal, Georgia, home of my ancestor who was a founder of the church and Gallaudet University. If you choose to make a mistake, Wikipedia will be useless and worthless to educational system. I stated facts and pictures to prove that you destroyed. you are not educational guy, I guess. deaf discrimiantion, georgia-facts discrimianting, and more discriminations are not educated ways you made. I do not do "constributes" for wikipedia because I am not paid by you. I only do for people who seek for education and knowledge. "Uneducated persons are learning to be educated persons when they understand what the world meaning to them." Encyclopedias alway have pictures. You can erase Chief Vann picture off so I can upload my own picture wirh my copyright.

- I could not make much sense out of your previous comment, so I apologize if my response is not relevant to your question.
- Image:Chiefvann.jpg is a copyright violation, and as such is not permitted on Wikipedia. As per copyright policy, images suspected of copyright violation are not to be used in articles, regardless of the article's picture status.
- You are encouraged to upload your own picture, as long as you own the copyright and it is licensed under a free license.
- The latter part of your comment was not directly intelligible to me, but from what I understand, you are free to contribute to discrimination to add information concerning discrimination against those with disabilities, as long as it is properly written and referenced. (I do not understand your rationale for your wish that I make that contribution.) --Wikiacc (talk) 20:20, August 14, 2005 (UTC)
