Some suggestions
- consider BLPPRODding instead of adding {{BLP unsourced}} for new articles.
- consider G12 tagging instead of adding {{copy paste}} for new articles.
- don't add redundant tags, such as {{BLP unsourced}} and {{unreferenced}} at the same time, as it can be considered tag bombing
In general, I suggest reading WP:NPP before continuing New Page Patrolling. thanks, Lil Johnny (talk) (contribs) 18:08, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice, I noticed on the two pages you editted after me, where I should be using BLPPROD instead of {{BLP unsourced}}, I use this in the future and will rereview WP:NPP. Thanks WikiVirusC (talk) 18:17, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

First Crusades
I got your message about my article "The First Crusades" and was unable to do what you suggested as the article was deleted and I couldn't access it. The reviewer simply deleted it as opposed to the usual AfD or Speedy AfD. When I contacted the reviewer, he pointed me to a couple of Wikipedia sites that really had no relevance. I've written many articles for Wiki and had only two AfDs: one that I successfully challenged and one that I agreed with the reviewer that the topic was adequately treated elsewhere. This article covered the 15 or so crusades that occurred between the First Crusade and the Second Crusade, all of which are documented by the experts in their field (e.g., Riley-Smith). I suppose I could have used a different title reflecting the categories 11-th Century Crusades and 12-th Century Crusades, but there didn't seem to be one that wasn't awkward. I just don't think it's right that a reviewer can, as a self-described layman, can simply delete an article without allowing any type of discussion.
Dr. Grampinator (talk) 16:21, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
- I did mark your article as for deletion so an admin could look at it and then decide if it should be deleted or not. The First Crusade covers details about the first series of crusades and I felt having two articles that overlap was a duplicate, even if yours includes a few more crusades past the first article. I would suggest having the article copied to your sandbox as the admin offered to do for you(if you don't have a backup). And then proceed to add the information into The First Crusade, or create a new article such as Minor Crusades between The First and Second Crusades. These crusades: People's, 1101, Norwegian, and Venetian, already have their own individual pages, some of your information could probably be added into those articles as well, and then you can see what you have left that isn't anywhere.
- I also would suggest going to the related task force and see if you could work with other contributors with more knowledge than me of The Crusades and their wikipedia articles and get their opinions. Crusades task force. As I am not knowledgeable on the subject I don't know which option of including your material would be best for the topic. WikiVirusC (talk) 16:55, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to DeMarcus Cousins, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "WikiVirusC", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is misleading, as it implies your account contains a virus. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Linguisttalk|contribs 19:14, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- "it implies your account contains a virus"?? Linguist111 What does that even mean? Sro23 (talk) 19:20, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry I worded that poorly. I may be totally wrong about this, but the username seems misleading to me. If an account was created with a username such as "WikiMalware", wouldn't that be misleading to you, Sro23? Linguisttalk|contribs 19:30, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- I personally don't feel like it is misleading. The "Wiki" at the beginning is used before several usernames, so no one would think I am implying that I am directly part of Wikipedia in a official capacity. The "Virus" by itself if I was WikiVirus, would be similar to WikiMalware example you used, but the "C" at end is pretty random(for someone else), and I don't feel it can mislead anyone into believing it's anything other than a username. WikiVirusC (talk) 19:46, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. I respect your opinion, but because we're disagreeing here, we need more opinions on the matter. I've filed a request for comment here, where other editors can offer their opinions and you can comment if you have anything more to say. Thank you. Linguisttalk|contribs 20:07, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
