Information icon Hello, I'm Suonii180. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Oliver Farnworth, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Suonii180 (talk) 10:16, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Zoe Tate

[edit]

Hey. Can you please stop removing information from Zoe Tate? You have been reverted numerous times. Is there a reason you are reverting? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 13:24, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am removing this information because I find it to be inappropriate and insulting to her character. It’s not needed and it’s just insulting WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:37, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And I also feel it’s just bullying to her character WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:39, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I usually would agree, however, Zoe is a fictional character, not a real person, and the reception section is meant to be balanced - if you remove it, it makes it biased. Zoe is an amazing character but not everyone needs to agree, and that is what the reception is for (and it does not even say that she is not a great character, it only has one comment saying that she brought misery, which in soaps is very very common!) DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 15:53, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Don’t say anything bad at all. What has been said should not be described over the internet publicly. Yes I get she is a character but I still love her character and person and this should not be said WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:58, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
She doesn’t bring misery at all. In fact she was the best character out of them all WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:58, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think she is an amazing character. And many others, like yourself, do too. But the reception section is not meant to be biased. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 16:01, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I understand that everyone has an opinion but how she was described, it’s just not right and it’s not nice. And then having it put up publicly. I just don’t like seeing it up there. That’s what I was saying. WikiFandom10 (talk) 16:03, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Zoe Tate, you may be blocked from editing. – Meena15:41, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is just nonsense. I find your reason and reply to be inappropriate. I am removing information that is insulting and bullying to Leah Bracknell’s character and you’re saying it’s not a good enough reason. That’s just plain wrong. It’s not right what you’re saying and it’s highly offensive WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:44, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I’m not doing anything wrong but I don’t think you understand. I don’t see how you can allow what has been said to be on here WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:45, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We do not censor information on Wikipedia - which I (amongst others) have sent you numerous messages and warnings about. The information on her page is not offensive; it is reception of her character. – Meena15:51, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don’t find it particularly and highly appropriate that she has been described as this and that is why I have been erasing the information as she definitely does not deserve to be described in this way. WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:55, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Zoe Tate. – Meena15:49, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are clearly not understanding what I’m trying to say. WikiFandom10 (talk) 15:52, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Zoe Tate. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Please discuss this on Talk:Zoe Tate instead of edit warring. Please also note that Wikipedia is not censored. i.e. just because you think a quoted description of a fictional character is "insulting" does not mean it must be removed. Bennv123 (talk) 15:53, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Do also take note of the 3-revert rule. Bennv123 (talk) 16:01, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
