Hello. Bhound89 16:20, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain why the deletion of the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee's "Axis of Evil Comedy Troupe" mention? There are plenty of other cultural references/ parodies given. --Bluejay Young 02:17, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your explanation why you deleted this. I will put it back in, but try to fix it up a little to make it fit in better. I also want to mention the Lullabies from the Axis of Evil CD in which women recorded folk tunes to promote understanding and hope for peace, but I have to do it without making it sound like an ad. --Bluejay Young 03:35, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cat leaders of china

[edit]

Regarding this edit. Please do not readd the category. After a discussion on CFD it was agreed the category should be removed. I've removed it again, please do not readd it. -- Drini 21:16, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Watch those popups!

[edit]

Hi. Your revert on The Beatles rv'd back to a version of mine that had a miscoding left in it. I fixed it manually though. I appreciate your desire to rv vandalism, but what you "corrected" wasn't vandalism at all. Watch those popups next time! ;) -- CJ Marsicano 03:47, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(yeah, I don't think that's demi moore) - very good - I still can't stop laughing --ArmadilloFromHell 03:45, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing grammar and spelling

[edit]

Hey, I fixed a spelling error (fexing to fixing), which is ironic since you said that you fix spelling errors yourself, unless you were trying to be funny and did that on purpose, oh well. Also, I took the liberty in correcting your misplaced periods. Periods are always inside the ending quotation mark. "Simple." Have a nice day.Wi-king 05:56, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that. I always did think it looked funny. ;) --Guinnog 06:00, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Judas Priest Plural??

[edit]

Why is Judas Priest plural, is that just how you guys do it in the UK? No offense, but that's driving me crazy. Wi-king 07:36, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not in the UK but...in international English band names are treated as plural. It's only the US where they are treated as singular although, here in Canada, that sometimes rubs off on us. On Wikipedia, UK subject=UK English, US subject=US English. Hope that helps. Anger22 10:28, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Strength of the World redirect

[edit]

Hi. The only reason I redirected Strength of the World (song) to City of Evil is because Strength of the World was already a redirect to City of Evil. I am not familiar with the song or album. Perhaps you should leave a note on Talk:City of Evil to try to establish consensus to see if the song is notable enough for its own article. Khatru2 04:01, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete my welcome? Anyways, would you please consider signing your posts on others user talk pages, as you did on mine? Thanks for the compliment on the user page. Cheers, Kukini 08:09, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Oaks.JPG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Oaks.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Gamia.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gamia.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:25, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
