User talk:WhyAmIDead?
A tag has been placed on Lies And Bullets From Your Lover, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Metropolitan90 21:45, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you create
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Synyster. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. — coelacan — 00:28, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Harlekin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. — coelacan — 00:29, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
I am sorry, but I have deleted the article on Harlekin again. I am afraid you just aren't notable enough- take a read of WP:BAND. You may also want to read WP:AUTO. I know how you feel- some of my best friends are in a band that does the local clubs. Actually, I'm not that far from you- over near Barrow-in-Furness, and I am a lot of the local gigs, so if you are ever over here, I'll probably end up seeing you! Anyway, best of luck with the band, and good luck becoming notable enough for Wikipedia. If you think that you are notable enough, drop me a line on my talk page, and I'll see what we can do.
