24.195.100.100 report on WP:RFI
I've archived that report, as any future vandalism should be reported to WP:AIV (for quick review and block). Also it might help if you provide a link to the correct information for quick checking purposes (see WP:CITE). Thanks for helping out, and feel free to get back to me with any questions. Lost character AfD nominations
Thanks for your note. That user created 10 articles! Please do go to the links and vote. -- PKtm 04:54, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Just a friendly reminder to use an edit summary when proposing deletion for an article. Edit summary usage is always good, but it is especially important that edit summaries are used when proposing deletion. The reason for this is that articles proposed for deletion that later have the {{prod}} tag removed should not be proposed for deletion again, but rather sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. The only easy way to check if an article was previously proposed for deletion is to look at the edit history and the edit summaries people have left before. Thanks! Big Brother UK series 7
Hello there,
I got the message of the 3 Revert rule. Does this also place user:'9cds' in this position too?
He insists on reverting ALL of my updates to the page as if it were his own. If you read Mine and 9cds talk pages, please can you evaluate the situation.
It is all about Big brother pictures... He has added the wrong logo and insisted that I am in the wrong when it is quite clear which is the official logo from the official big brother website http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother and whether I can add the pictures of the contestants, which is perfectly viable according to the rules on their site for this:- http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/about/fan-rules.html
Ever since I touched the page, and created another page in ignorance which he removed and redirected to his... I saw that he hadnt added any of the material that I had on the merged pages... I tried adding them in addition to his page and he said they were irrelevent and removed them.
I am in a battle with this guy that I don't even know because he thinks that the page is his to rule and accept and deny people's legit changes.
He has nominated all of my files for deleteion as well!
If you could please do something about him, that would be great.
I shall look forward to your return.
Thanks for any help

Comment from Amaas120
Oh, thanks. Silly me. Must've missed that. Amaas120 00:02, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Ahh, I hate the tilde signature rule. It's a bit of an annoyance. Amaas120 00:08, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Operation MAPLE FLAG
I'm gonna go ahead and expand it. As a mutli-national millitary exersize its important. Natuarlly, I am going to NPOV it if possible. Cheers V. Joe 20:55, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
Your signature
Hi there. Could you please remove the blinking aspect of your signature per guidelines at WP:SIG#Important_considerations? I personally find it a tad distracting and it fills up about 9 lines of code in my edit window which makes it difficult to read through it. Thanks. Cowman109Talk 21:28, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks about maple flag
Ive put most of the information i know of it into my own words without overstepping copyright laws and given a few links to work with as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Itchy01ca (talk • contribs)
Thanks for reverting
Thanks for reverting my user page! 217.42.122.239 has now been blocked. I've been vandalized 3x today by vandals I reverted, so I must be doing something right! Rlevse 19:44, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Hello Whomp, my name is Norman Siegel and I'm an extremely busy man so please excuse my frankness. I'd like you to reconsider the delete comment on the Israel A. Burns page. I don’t believe that he was given a fair objective disication because of his age. He has notable references and I believe he has done more in the city of Brooklyn then most of the local officials. That being said, if you would simply do a more serious inspection of the page, hopefully you will see the noted significance thank you.--N Siegel 23:54, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Hopefully they will ban him. --CFIF (talk to me) 21:52, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
G4
I came to leave you a note and HOLY SHIT! Norman Siegel left you a note before me!! He's a very famous man... I am strangely excited... ----- Anyway, please be careful about what you do with G4. G4 is not for previously speedied things. Let's make an example: article says "Professor Joe Shmo is the coolest dude. He smokes pot twice a day" and X tags it for A7 and sysop zaps it. Then it's reposted with the same text. G4 does not apply - but A7 does. G4 can only enforce results of AfD's, but not prior speedies or prods! This is to guard against a repost that reads something like "Professor Joe Shmo at Z university is the premier researcher into marijuana and has famously smoked it before for the sak of science." That's not A7 - and it's not deletable as G4, either. Just so you can be careful in the future. Thanks. - CrazyRussian talk/email 02:59, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- It's simple: either there was an AfD/VfD before, and then it's G4, or there hasn't been, and then it has be some other db-tag - or it's not db. - CrazyRussian talk/email 03:10, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
WikiProject TV Stations
Saw your note that you're leaving. To tell the truth, this project is plagued with issues, and, what with serious civility violations from many users, and a general lack of focus for the project, I've considered leaving the project myself. This project is in need of serious editors who know basic WP policies. Please reconsider your resignation, Whomp.--Firsfron of Ronchester 03:26, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- I second that! We need more good editors in this project, or it will fail altogether. -- AlexDW 03:38, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- I appreciate the quick response, Whomp. It seems I share your concerns about this project, and, at this point, I'm at my wits' end. I was hoping more level-headed editors would be joining, but if all that's happening is that the wikiStress on this project is causing editors to flee the project, the situation only becomes worse. I look forward to your continued edits to TV-station related articles, and hope you'll eventually get back with the project, when things settle down. Thanks for your edits, and thanks for being decent. --Firsfron of Ronchester 03:41, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Tagline Removals
Are you running a bot? Your removal of tagline information from movie articles seems a bit high-speed. Also Wikipedia:WikiProject Films is certainly not a policy, and the inclusion of taglines in all the articles seem to stem from commnuity editing, suggesting a consensus that they may be useful. I'm not really involved in film articles much, nor am I a member of the project, but did notice you a lot on recnet changes patrol. Do you have any other information about these removals? — xaosflux Talk 19:56, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- Fast is relative of course, but you were hitting 4(+) edits per min, often a symptom of a bot. Like I said, I really don't care if the taglines stay or go, but others may, I often notive them getting updated. Being bold is always a good start, but before pruning all taglines from the encyclopdeia, you might want to get a discussion going on it first, the films project is probally a good place, and perhaps link to it from village pump. — xaosflux Talk 20:08, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Yeah
Right, Id like to know why people are allowed to change my entry for YTMND, and yet if I change it back, they just change it back to theirs and visa versa.
Isnt this just gonna create a friggin loop of "Back and forth" between whoever is changing what I put in, and visa versa? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.20.242.197 (talk • contribs)
- No, because one (or both) of us will just get blocked for violating WP:3RR. Also, you yourself are violating WP:OWN. The version I am reverting to is not written by me, but is neutral, verified and does not use weasel words. If you have an objection, please mention it on the talk page. —Whomp [T] [C] 19:22, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
Well, I did it
Wikipedia:Requests for comment/BenH, made it as unbiased as possible. --CFIF (talk to me) 00:54, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not really sure what I can contribute to this, Whomp...I know from what I've read that he's disruptive, but I don't think he's disrupted articles that I work on outside of things like removing commas from 4-digit numbers, so I'm not sure I'm in a place to comment.
- On the other hand, he has posted on Golden-Road.net a few times, solely to make completely unfounded claims about the date that The Price Is Right expanded to an hour. (He claims that it happened a month later than it actually did, even after he was proven wrong through TV Guide listings and another forumgoer who remembers watching the first hour show when it originally aired.) If nothing else, I'll agree that he's not trustworthy. -TPIRFanSteve 02:35, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- That's okay. In addition, thanks for that info about his posts on Golden-Road.net , which is yet another reason why his edits can not be trusted. —Whomp [T] [C] 02:42, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
