I just replied here to make it faster: It's most likely better to add {{subst:submit}} to the top of the article, that way it can be reviewed and any problems addressed before it is moved. Once it's in articlespace (i.e. without any PREFIX:), it's more likely to be just outright deleted instead of having problems fixed :) gwickwiretalkediting 19:13, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- Oh ok great!! I'm sorry, I'm a bit slow haha, do you mean to add "{{subst:submit}}" to the my existing nameofpage at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Whitney_Shepard/NAMEOFPAGE or to the new page I hope to create? Thanks! Whitney Shepard (talk) 19:26, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- Don't create anything. Add {{subst:submit}} (without the
around it) to the top of the nameofpage. That'll put it in line for a review. gwickwiretalkediting 19:27, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- By the way, you probably see two errors on the box, those are fie, it's just a bug in the system :) gwickwiretalkediting 19:32, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- Awesome, you rock!! Thanks so much again :)

Hello, Whitney Shepard. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you should consider our guidance on Conflicts of interest and take a look at the Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:27, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Article Revised to Enhance "Notability"
[edit]{{help me!}} Hi! Thank you so much for your suggestions and feedback. I have once again revised the article regarding the PSO to include more credible outside sources to prove the notability of the organization. If you note articles from the APSA, JSTOR, SAGE, the New York Times, International Business Times, Advanced Biofuels, MicroCapital, and the ISA have all been cited in regards to their mention of the PSO.
I also see that there may be a concern of "conflict of interest", I am not attempting to hide my affiliation with the PSO, but am unaware of how to make this absolutely clear. Am I to update my user page to make sure this is clear? If you have any advice on how I can address this matter, that would be greatly appreciated. I have made sure to provide non-bias edits, and for this to be a purely informative encyclopedia entry.
Please do let me know what next steps I should take, and if I should re-submit the article for consideration, or if this is automatically done so.
Any advice, suggestions, or wisdom you care to share is greatly appreciated!! :)
Many thanks!! Whitney Shepard (talk) 19:17, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hey again :) I'm very occupied right now, so I'll look at this and reply in a few hours :) gwickwiretalkediting 20:35, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi! Oh, I completely understand, no rush. Haha, I was actually trying to communicate directly with the person(s) who "rejected" me (LiquidWater??), because I realize you must be busy helping others out, so I didn't want to bother you. But clearly, I don't know how to do that, so my apologies. Perhaps I should go directly to their talk page? I apologize for my Wikipedia ignorance! :( As always any help you can provide is awesome. Thanks! Whitney Shepard (talk) 14:33, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

Clarifying Additions of Reliable sources
[edit]Hello,
I just wanted to clarify that I added a JSTOR article, a book on public policy "The State of Public Bureaucracy", a SAGE publication, all that mention the PSO directly, and are about the PSO. I received comments that the sources I provided do not deal with the organization directly, so I have added these which all address and deal with the PSO and its outside works. Thanks.
