To give an answer to your question -- not the answer you want -- probably nobody knows for sure. It's rather unlikely that cannabis itself kills neurons, though. Smoking stuff might. One thing about smoking, though: it tends to limit the dose, and marijuana smokers generally smoke much less than tobacco users. Toxic effects (beyond mere "intoxication") from marijuana are generally limited to those who ate large quantities. --Abd (talk) 23:19, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
