The article Nen (Hunter x Hunter) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bk314159 (talk) 01:41, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Why actually the "Nen (Hunter X Hunter)" article its proposed for deletion? i see lots of articles like mine, and they dont get deleted. so.. why? what do you consider in that article is like a "guidebook"? i dont explain "how to do" or things like that, i just explain what is nen --White·Umbrella 02:17, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- See this page; many of our articles are in bad shape. Your article uses "you" (articles are not directed toward people), and is a listing of techniques, which makes it appear like a guidebook. There are no reliable sources mentioned; there is not evidence that each technique is notable. —fetch·comms 02:23, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- first, i think nen is notable, because is one of the main techniques in the series. second, reliable source would be the manga or anime, because there is no serious web that would do an article about nen, and the only webs that create things are fan-sites, that are not reliable sources. so , with that in mind , its kinda ridiculous to search reliable sources, because, as i said before, the only webs that have information about it are fan-sites. third, i never used "you" in the article, and if i used it , it would be one time because i didn't notice that i wrote it (mainly because i would be more woried about the article itself). and fourth, while writting about nen its imposible to obviate the techniques. —White·Umbrella 02:42, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Fan sites are not reliable; if it has not been covered in reliable independent sources (not just the anime), then it is probably not notable enough by Wikipedia standards. If it is important, then you can add a short section to the main Hunter x Hunter page. The techniques are not notable on their own and should not really be on Wikipedia, as we are not a fan site either. You used "your" or some variant of it at the beginning. —fetch·comms 02:53, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

- Where did you get all that information? What makes you think that it is appropriate for the Wikipedia web site to have an article on Nen when "here is no serious web that would do an article about nen"? Thanks! — Jeff G. ツ 02:55, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- I get the information from the series itself. i mean , that all the info about Nen i get it from the manga and/or the anime. When i say that "there is no serious web that would do an article about nen", i mean that there arent pages that would explain things about nen, or would you find something about nen in pages like national geographic? and i think that is apropiate for wikipedia because, as i said, its one of the most important techniques in the series. if you can resume all the hatsu and techniques to add a short section to the main Hunter x Hunter page, i'll do it, but i believe that its kinda imposible.
