[edit]Hi, thanks for correcting me. I guess you are right, I have seen 'Clarity in a Complex World' with the new colours somewhere behind a speaker, while 'Everything is Logistics' was not shown at all yesterday. E-pen 06:21, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Super vandalism work
[edit]Super vandalism work you do, and its great that you warn the vandals. One thing. When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Rettetast 22:03, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your work with fighting vandalism, but please remember to substitute the template—use {{subst:Test}} rather than {{Test}}. See:Template_talk:Test#Usage, Thank you - Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 22:05, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- No worries, it isn't that serious a matter. And, no, I'm not on irc. Happy hunting!- Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 22:12, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi, West Brom 4ever. I just wanted to let you know I was not trying to vandalize the Islam page, but instead, I was trying to revert it back to the version before the vandalism had taken place. (If you scroll down, you'll see that a previous visitor had replaced all the text on the page with the word "crazy," which I found offensive. However, I didn't know how to revert the page back to its previous state. I'm glad that you do. Thanks. Kimmyesque 22:23, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Kimmyesque

Masturbation
[edit]Hi, just to let you know that I wasn't trying to vandalise the aticle, I was just deleting gettin rid of a load of unfounded comments about the supposed health risks of masturbation, where the contributor seemed to think that fatigue, depression, were consqequences, without being able to provide any verifiable source or any creditable proof. I would suggest it is probably some scientology nutcase editing it. Cheers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.229.27.251 (talk • contribs)

Reverting me
[edit]I don't know if you noticed, by my removal of the information on this talk page[1] was due to that information being moved from the main page. I reverted the removal from the main page, and also reverted the addition of the same information from the talk page.
Did you disagree with my reverting of the movement of the information? Or did you simply think I was blanking discussion from the talk page? HighInBC (Need help? Ask me)
I didn't do it
[edit]You sent me this message:
Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Zoe Weizenbaum. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. Hey, there. :) The user you reported has been blocked for 24 hours by another administrator; should they return, they'll be blocked again. In cases where a user is being that disruptive, you'll usually get a quicker response through WP:AIV (that board deals with vandalism, and has a much faster turnaround time, although it operates in an even narrower set of circumstances than WP:PAIN; hope that makes sense). Feel free to let me know if you need any help. Cheers! Luna Santin 00:02, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Your VandalProof Application
[edit]Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, West Brom 4ever. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that a check of your last 5k contributions has shown that you often not warn users when reverting. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. «Snowolf How can I help?» 10:36, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Hajduk Split
[edit]Apologies if I'm oblivious to any past discussions about this, I saw Hadjuk Split in the deletion log as an article (not a redirect) which had been deleted and it took me ages to figure out that the reason it was there was because it was an incorrect spelling. I created it as a redirect per the guidelines here, which state that plausible mispellings and typos should redirect to the article. If the redirect was deleted before under a discussion could you link me to it? - Zeibura (Talk) 15:52, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well your link fixing work is not in vain, as it's corrected the spelling in articles, and fixed links to a redirect. However I'm not convinced the redirect should be deleted, as it might be typed into the search box. I'd suggest taking this to RFD - if you do, to keep it fair I'll abstain from participating. - Zeibura (Talk) 16:01, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Your admin status
[edit]Hello. I'm a steward. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus recently. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing administrators' activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.
You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on hrwikibooks, where you are an administrator. Since that wiki does not have its own administrators' rights review process, the global one applies.
If you want to keep your rights, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights, and demonstrate a continued requirement to maintain these rights.
We stewards will evaluate the responses. If there is no response at all after approximately one month, we will proceed to remove your administrative rights. In cases of doubt, we will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact us on m:Stewards' noticeboard.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
