The image is copyrighted by Zuffa, see here. I've already requested deletion at Commons. Cheers, --aktsu (t / c) 21:04, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, permission to display it wouldn't be enough - they would need to release it under a license compatible with Wikipedia (e.g. the GFDL). If they are willing to do that it would of course be awesome, but I highly doubt they will. Also, not sure I completely grasp what you're trying to accomplish by using it. I think the existing image is perfect in that if shows both the striking and grappling aspects of MMA, while the Bonnar-Jones image gives more associations towards pure greco-roman wrestling and/or professional wrestling than MMA. - If the article emphasized greco-roman wrestling that is certainly not how it should be. You're welcome to do any improvements. The image shows striking from a knee-on-belly possession, definitely not uncommon in MMA and certainly not something you see in BJJ/JJ. --aktsu (t / c) 23:06, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Talk:Mixed martial arts is the place to discuss it. Cheers, --aktsu (t / c) 23:50, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 21:39, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mixed martial arts. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. TreyGeek (talk) 23:31, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
