The Deletion
[edit]How long will it take, because if they interfere this inaccurate article could infact stay open. It angers me that people want to vandalise and make up rubbish on wikipedia. --Voiceypoo 11:56, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Only administrators are able to delete pages. They will prove your facts and delete the article. But normally it is very fast. If this boy will write something, someone else will clear it. Do not worry. Weird Bird 12:10, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Barnstar for you!
[edit]For beating me to so many new users in the past 15 minutes or so, I give you this :)
Oh, and just a quick hint – you should use {{subst:PAGENAME}} instead of just {{PAGENAME}}. The reasons for this are:
- The welcomed user will see the {{PAGENAME}} code if he clicks "edit this page"
- If the welcome is archived, the {{PAGENAME}} variable won't make sense, since it will change to reflect the name of the archived page.
Otherwise... you're doing good work :) I hope to see you around! — riana_dzasta • t • c • e • ER • 13:47, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Removal of constant vandalism in the Royal National Theatre article
[edit]Since you were the admin. who welcomed User talk:X.., please take a look at the above history and see what he?/she? is up to with User talk:Missblenheim.
There's constant back and forth vandalism going on.
Thanks. Vivaverdi 15:13, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, I am not an administrator and so I cannot block them. Remember that you have to warn a user in an adequate way. You can find the warning rules and warning templates here. I warned them and told them that they risk getting blocked. If these vandals strike again, list them at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Then an administrator will block them. Teke's RfA thanks
[edit]Thank you for your support of my RfA, which has passed with a final tally of 76/1/1. With this overwhelming show of support and approval I am honored to serve Wikipedia in the task charged to me and as outlined in my nomination. Happy editing to you! Teke (talk) 17:37, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Long-Overdue RfA Thanks from Alphachimp
[edit]Thanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which was successful with a an overwhelmingly flattering and deeply humbling total of 138/2/2 (putting me #10 on the RfA WP:100). I guess infinite monkey theorem has been officially proven. Chimps really can get somewhere on Wikipedia.
With new buttons come great responsibility, and I'll try my best to live up to your expectations. If you need assistance with something, don't hesitate to swing by my talk page or email me (trust me, I do respond :)). The same goes for any complaints or comments in regard to my administrative actions. Remember, I'm here for you. (Thanks go to Blnguyen for the incredible photo to the right.) alphaChimp laudare 05:53, 3 September 2006 (UTC) |

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
