Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Weinbach1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Response
[edit]Hi! I responded at Ian's page, but wanted to post this here as well:
I can't see where your account was blocked on the English Wikipedia. Are you using a VPN or some other type of program to hide your IP address? If so, then this needs to be disabled as IPs from these programs are typically blocked. (Long story short, some users have used VPNs as a way to vandalize Wikipedia and evade a block.) If it's not this, are you using the internet in public? Some public IP addresses (like the ones at school, libraries, or places that offer free wifi) can sometimes get blocked as a result of repeated vandalism from that location. Essentially, it's a case of many people using the internet - the odds are high that someone will use it for no good. There is a workaround for this, however, if this is the case! You may need to send a screenshot of what you're seeing to Ian so he can determine what's going on. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 03:58, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
