Nigelj removed the valuable addition I made to the Peak Oil page on 1/23/2011. Complaint that Logistic criticism was in the lede, while that was the only place that Logistic appeared. Also complained that the book link was on a private blog!
WebHubTel (talk) 03:01, 26 January 2011 (UTC) I added a variation on 1/25/2011 WebHubTel (talk) 03:04, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Please do not add self published sources as references, it violates wp:SPS.LeadSongDog come howl! 06:27, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
I have spent the last five years working on the book, having gone through peer review as blog posts. This is not self-published, it is published by GoogleDocs. What is Wikipedia but self-published? What about all those vanity publishers like Regnery and World Net Daily that use it to push an agenda? WebHubTel (talk) 13:38, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. I detect some hypocrisy. The main figure shows a plot of various models of the peak oil curve. One of those models (Shock Model) is the one I solely developed and described in my book. WebHubTel (talk) 02:32, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
