You can make draft pages for any article you are working on. I see you had some content [1] on your talk page before. Just make a page called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Wbd/Figma or whatever you want to call it, and you can put that information there to work on. If the release of the figma gets news mention, then you can justify having it there. Surely someone reviewed the toys, it something discussed on many sites dedicated to the anime and manga. You may also find the www.Wikia.com to be a good place to edit. I am the administrator of the Gantz Wikia, and have a page for the figma for that series, including pictures of each one. http://gantz.wikia.com/wiki/Gantz_action_figures Any series that you are interested in, will probably have a Wikia dedicated to it already, and if not, you can easily create one, just by posting a request for a new one at http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Adoption Dream Focus 04:30, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank-you for your words of support, and for your suggestions. I definitely will check out Wikia, and I'm looking at Knol as possible options for alternate places to be. I think I will hold off on doing much more at the moment, as this whole affair has left me a bit burnt out.
I do want to take a moment to say that I looked at your userpage, and I think that you are doing good work with your stand on promoting content and defending against the removal of good content. I am hopeful that in future your vision will be the guiding principle for growth in Wikipedia.

I got rejected for my figma edit too. I added sources from the official website any everything. Here, take a look

maybe this wiki page can live on in here since official websites obviously aren't official sources -__- --Hongkim

Firstly, I'll start with an apology- I had to trim the Figma information from my user talk page, as it is only supposed to be in a Sandbox or in an official article. Dream Focus above explains how you can place a sandbox on your user page. Don't worry, you can still pull the information from the article history page. Again, my apologies.
I certainly understand your feelings on this subject, but I have given up on editing Wikipedia. After being accused of "sock puppeting" (a serious allegation- the admin of Wikipedia feel that they can release personal information about you if you are found guilty) just for editing some articles, I lost all interest in participating. Actually, I lost interest a week beforehand, then came back to find this accusation (and the threat behind it was concerning to me) on my user page. I just find it ridiculous that all I wanted to do was help others by adding information, and what I got from it was a personal investigation.
I still check my user page for edits, just to be safe, however, based on what happened.
Keep in mind that the only hard and fast rules on Wikipedia are those set by the admins. All other matters can and should be discussed. If you feel something is being pushed unfairly, present an argument why things should be different, and don't be afraid to escalate to the admin to protect information from senseless deletion.
But for personal safety, I suggest being very careful. As I said, for me, it's too dangerous and not worth it.

False Accusation of Sock Puppetry

[edit]

The accusation of "Sock Puppetry" has been proven false. Note that my statement that it was a false accusation is not accusing Collectonian of doing it maliciously, it is merely a statement of fact.

The case can be reviewed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Wbd
