Image copyright problem with Image:Kultigin monument.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Kultigin monument.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. YellowDot 01:42, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think it'll be better to separate Crimean Tatar cuisine frome Volga Tatar one.. they have so different origins... Let's disscuss it together! --Üñţïf̣ļëŗ (see also:ә? Ә!) 09:15, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Turgid prose
[edit]I totally agree about the turgid nature of the Connectivism (learning theory) article. This, in part, prompted me to explore the theory deeper, and to blog my own article about it to provide a broad introduction for the uninitiated. So I added my work as an external link to the Wikipedia article, but unfortunately someone thought I was angling for notability and removed it! Ryanwiki (talk) 05:26, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Satka city coa.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Satka city coa.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 18:56, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
The file File:Beach looking inland at Kara Dag, Koktebel's signature peak.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
orphaned image, no encyclopedic use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
Also:
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:03, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
