EDC Everyday carry
[edit]Hey Warrageen that is really cool of you in helping me out with the article on EDC. Your intro is good and I like it but I will switch out the "cooler" with the "sophisticated" (look far MORE "cooler" with looks MORE "sophisticated"). Reason is someone is going to come along and say there is too many slang words blah blah blah...... I didnt spend enough time working on the article since it was about to be DELETED, I helped saving it by improving the article and making some references. If you actually look at the history....the article was a stub and turned into a vandalism joke then a stub, then was about to be deleted, then I improved it and saved it from certain deletion. Yes, go ahead and help us improve and clean up the article.......I am not that good in writing but I know my concepts and your intro seems good in conveying the idea of EDC.
One thing I would like to keep is the CCW (Carrying Concealed Weapon and Open Carry) you must know that some states actually allow weapons to be carried on the person while in public. When you are in your own or someones private property Open Carry is also an EDC for example someone working at the local Shooting Range will have a bullet proof vest and firearm on him all the time, part of the job like a Forestry Ranger will have their knife, rope, and compass.
Second and lastly is I would like to keep the reference of clothing to expand the EDC carrying options. I wear work pants (cargo pants) everyday and I got lots of pockets and I do some extreme EDC. Having a fanny pack, day pack, briefcase, or purse is part of EDC because some people have to wear a dress or suits daily.
Thanks for helping out. Neoking (talk) 18:19, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
