Collapsing reference lists
[edit]Hello again. Just wanted to let you know why I reverted some of your recent edits. Enclosing reference lists in a collapsible box causes issues. Links between the inline cite and the reference list don't work when the reference list is enclosed in a collapsed box. And in general, it causes issues with readability, accessibility, and printing, as mentioned here: Template:Reflist#Perennial_suggestions. I would say that page length isn't really a concern for any of those articles you added it on, so don't worry about it. --The1337gamer (talk) 06:56, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
Plainlist mass edits
[edit]Hello, I noticed earlier today that you are mass-editing the {{plainlist}} template onto various video game or video game series articles, and would kindly ask you to refuse to do the mass-editing and reconsider. The {{plainlist}} template is pretty outdated, and the {{Unbulleted list}} template should be used instead; there were numerous cases of you actually replacing said {{Unbulleted list}} template. Secondly, please do not order entries in the infobox alphabetically: |developer=/|publisher= are sorted by relevancy (on series chronologically), |modes= is single-player first and multiplayer second, |genre= is sorted by its impact on the entity (e.g. First-person shooteres are mainly first-person shooters, and other genres come afterwards), |platforms= is also sorted chronologically, and in-chronologically, if multiple platforms released on the same date, they are sorted alphabetically. A third matter is that you tag every edit (literally) as "minor". This way, especially in the mass-manor you are doing, nobody will be informed of your changes via email or other. If you do such edits, please shorten them into one single edit and mark it as major, and remember to use {{Unbulleted list}} for a nicer outcome. Such lists may, in the code, also be in-line, especially for short lists (~2–5). Please note that, if I happen to stumble over one of your edits, I will likely revert or change it. Thanks!
