File source problem with File:Orsk3.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Orsk3.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:50, 23 February 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:50, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Your uploads
[edit]Good day. I see that you have uploaded a number of images to Wikipedia. First off, thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, there are some guidelines that we need to follow with copyrighted images. Specifically, you need to add a source for the image (a link to a website will do), a copyright tag (there are some listed at WP:ICT), and a rationale explaining why we can use a copyrighted image (explained at WP:NFURG). I see that your images fail to include one of these. Please stop uploading images and address the concerns listed above. If you need assistance, you can ask at the help desk. If you do not fix these images, and you continue to make bad uploads, you will be blocked and your images will be deleted. Thanks for your contributions! STBotI (talk) 19:59, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Staryoskol12.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Staryoskol12.jpg.
If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:33, 23 February 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. DFS454 (talk) 20:33, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Spetersburg10.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Spetersburg10.jpg.
Image tagging for File:Syktyvcar5.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Syktyvcar5.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Please unblock me. I have read and understood your image policy fully.
Note
[edit]I deleted the last images from Commons. For the surviving 10 images there I counted 5 different cameras, I think - its difficult to say that because the images are online here for 2 years, therfore many people already reused them from Wikipedia - that I identified possible sources for three of the files. Looks like Warden987 is an extreme example of not readin rules and of not beeing interested in what you write and what you legaly confirm with your uploads and/or edits. --Martin H. Request reason:
I have read and understood your image uploading policy fully and completely Warden987 (talk) 03:02, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Since the blocking administrator is not active any longer for me to consult, and since it has been almost 10 years, I will give you another chance. Be advised that you may be blocked, with or without warning, should you improperly upload images again. 331dot (talk) 14:42, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Please briefly explain the policy in your own words, to ensure understanding. Also please explain what you intend to do if unblocked. I also note that you were blocked almost 10 years ago; why did you now decide to request unblock? 331dot (talk) 11:51, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
I can explain in my own words this policy. No copyright or another person's photo can be uploaded here without his permission. One can upload one's own or public domain photos freely as long as they are not spam or intentionally offensive. If unblocked,I am going to contribute to Wikipedia with useful information and articles, mostly concerning US cities, their rankings, tables and other geographical stuff. I was blocked 10 years ago after uploading other people's photos without any knowledge about your picture uploading policy and was quickly blocked. Now I find some missing info like full Texas municipalities list by population, full New England town/city list by population. I want too add to Wikipedia in this and contribute in other articles where I find it necessary.Warden987 (talk) 14:09, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
