[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Gerbert (TV series), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Golgofrinchian ≤TALK≥ 02:40, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Gerbert (TV series). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Golgofrinchian ≤TALK≥ 02:43, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Gerbert (TV series). If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. MrChupon (talk) 02:51, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Proper Way to Remove Content from an Article
[edit]You should never edit war, even if you are right. You should instead follow the steps in dispute resolution. When a large amount of page text is removed by a new user with little explanation it will often appear to be vandalism. In this case it appears you were correct and the person on huggle (a popular anti-vandal tool) was a bit tigger happy. In this case the best solution would be to drop a note on either the article's or user's talk page letting him/her know about the issue, this is the first stage dispute resolution. Please note that if an article is a wholly inaccurate hoax the best course of action is often deletion, usually under the criterion for speedy deletion. Thanks for pointing out the hoax in this article and welcome to wikipedia. --nn123645 (talk) 03:58, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
