Sortable tables

[edit]

In order tomake the table sortable, please use {{dts}} for dates and {{age in years and days}} to automagically generate the times. Mayalld (talk) 15:48, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing to add lines without the templates is just going to make the list into an unusable mess, and will be a waste of time. I've amended the first line to show how it should be done. Please stop adding more unsortrable content, and switch to using the templated versions

January 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Time elapsed between first appointment and final departure from the role as Prime Minister, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Your reaction to my attempts to advise on how to turn a table that would end up as deletion fodder into a useful page seem to have fallen on stoney ground, and you are tenditiously editing, whilst declining to discuss. Mayalld (talk) 16:34, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to a block from editing. I offered you advice on making the article better, I demonstrated how to make it better, you have adopted an attitude that this is "your" article and refuse even to acknowledge communications Mayalld (talk) 16:54, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Time elapsed between first appointment and final departure from the role as Prime Minister

[edit]

I have nominated Time elapsed between first appointment and final departure from the role as Prime Minister, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Time elapsed between first appointment and final departure from the role as Prime Minister. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
