Adding reference to Wikipedia articles

[edit]
Just follow the steps as shown, and fill in the details

Hello WP iampiyushnegi! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding well-formatted references is easy.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite". Click on it.
  2. Then click on "templates".
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and then fill all relevant details.

This will add a well-formatted reference, which will allow other people to see where you got your information from. You can read more about this at Help:Edit toolbar, or watch this video: File:RefTools.ogv. Thanks and regards —DBigXray 18:58, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm DBigXray. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Himachal Pradesh, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —Gazoth (talk) 07:27, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Malana (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Problem with your custom signature

[edit]

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 19:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

Please stop reverting other's changes

[edit]

Wikipedia is knowledge sharing and reverting changes done by others is considered vandalism. Everyone has right to make changes and review changes and you can not stop others from making changes. What looks correct to you may not be correct to others. Learn to appreciate difference of opinion and Please stop vandalism. Raj172027 (talk) 15:22, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am doing same as you and you also can't stop me. So if you want to continue this game i am on. Piyush Negi 15:35, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

In other words i belong from Kumarsain and thats why i have better knowledge than you regardig that and your edits to the page is doing nothing good. Your editing in the page is same as i had already mentioned in the page but in other sectuon. Piyush Negi 15:43, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

If you say something is notified or denotified, use citation. Wikipedia is not place to put things at your whim and fancies. Records like changing Baragaon status without citations will be challenged and reverted. Same thing will be for other. We also have right to edit, review just like you. You want to take it personally it's your choice.

First 3-4 lines of any article are summary and Kumarsain is Subdivision, Tehsil and village. What written after that is always elaboration of summary.

Have you seen other articles on wikipedia? No other articles about any place has this kind of summary what ypu are adding. Piyush Negi 03:57, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

And for the denotification of Baragaon sub tehsil, just wait 2 or 3 days i will add citation to that also. Piyush Negi 04:07, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

Every time you undo my revisions i revert it back even if you do it everday for eternity, i will dp the same. Piyush Negi 04:09, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

I have seen many articles on Wikipedia and it's summary is like that. You are doing wrong does mean it is the way to do. You want to take it personally or on your ego it is your choice but any act of vandalism by you will be opposed and changes reverted. Raj172027 (talk) 01:55, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As i said i can do it for eternity and you can't do nothing. Piyush Negi 03:50, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

It's not only me who removed content but other reviewers also who removed your content which was without citations. Please take other's view constructively and stop threatening and abusing me. It's already 4 time and it is against Wikipedia policy. You are deleting content from my talk page also but from history abusive content on my talk page are still available. 19:54, 16 November 2022‎ Blaze Wolf 08:05, 16 November 2022‎ LilianaUwU 07:31, 24 December 202 2 and now again on 31 December 2022. If you are taking my comments personally it's not my fault as neither I have grudge against anyone not I use abusive comments.
