blanking talk pages

Hi WACKYmatsu... First, Welcome to Wikipedia... I hope you enjoy edititing as much as the rest of us do. As is typical for new editors (and we all were new at one point), you may not be fully up on the conventions and policies of the project, so I thought I would point you to some of the most important. There are three that form the core policies that we all should follow: Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Neutral Point of view... there are others that you will become familiar with as time goes by... but everything else tends to follow from these key three.

There are also some customs that are not part of the "rules" but which people follow anyway. One of them is to leave other editors comments on article talk-pages, even after the reason for the comments has been dealt with. You blanked my comment on the article on Prof. Holman... but no harm done as I added it back... I realize that you probably did not know that doing so is frowned upon.

That said, you can delete your user page's talk (ie this page) if you want... I regularly delete old comments from my user talk-page once I have replied or otherwise dealt with them... most other editors choose to leave everything and archive old stuff when the page gets long... it's up to you really.)
