Your username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Vuvuzelamedia", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. 2600:1702:2340:3020:D58E:2C6F:88FD:4552 (talk) 00:14, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
December 2024
[edit]Hello, I'm SmittenGalaxy. I noticed that in this edit to Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 2, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SmittenGalaxy | talk! 07:55, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 2, you may be blocked from editing. SmittenGalaxy | talk! 08:00, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at User:Hey man im josh/XfD log. SmittenGalaxy | talk! 08:05, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- Noting that it's not appropriate to remove entries from other people's logs, as you did at User:Hey man im josh/XfD log, or from the nomination pages, as you did at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 2. If you believe a page should be kept, you should contribute to the discussion. Hey man im josh (talk) 13:13, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 2. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 11:08, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
warning i haven't found a good template for
[edit]weirdly specific case, but please don't remove rfd templates and retarget a redirect without closing the discussion, as you've done with tshiamo nong, resulting in an accidental second nomination. and on that topic, please don't close discussions before a consensus is reached and/or against said consensus cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 13:52, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- on closer inspection, piped links don't work properly on redirects, so try avoiding those as well
- and absolutely avoid misleading edit summaries like "fixed typco" for an edit that is most definitely not a typo fix cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 13:57, 3 December 2024 (UTC)

Clear final warning
[edit]I want to be crystal clear @Vuvuzelamedia. It is inappropriate to remove a nominated redirect, as you have done 3 times at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 2 and once at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 3. You may contribute in discussions, but you are not to remove them from the discussion pages. You are also not allowed to remove the nomination template from the redirect itself, as you did at Tshiamo Nong 3 times. It is also inappropriate and accomplishes nothing to remove entries from other user's nomination logs, as you've done 3 times at my XfD log.
Again, to be crystal clear, if you remove the template from Tshiamo Nong, remove the discussion from Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 2 or Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 December 3, or if you edit my XfD log again to remove the entry, I as an administrator, will block you from Wikipedia. Hey man im josh (talk) 16:33, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- is this a bad time to suggest that vuvuzela might be collaborating with an ip or accidentally editing while logged out, as "lightly suggested" in their removal of a warning on said ip's talk page, and the fact that both seem to be interested in the same models? i fear this might require checkuser attention cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 16:41, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
