Mass-moving the discussions there to WP:ANI was really confusing for me, and I suspect other people. Doing so also bricked the ongoing move request. Please leave things where they are; anyone at ANI who needs to view the previous discussions knows where to find them. Mackensen (talk) 00:22, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Mackensen: Sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. I followed the discussion move guideline on Chinese wikipedia rather than that of English wikipedia, which requires to archive and move whole discussion if the discussion move to elsewhere. I will revert the change back to previous version. -- VulpesVulpes825 (Talk) 00:24, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- Please just stop modifying the talk page. I've already put everything back. The existence of the discussion at ANI doesn't mean that the other discussions are archived. Mackensen (talk) 00:30, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Mackensen: I do not want to cause a edit war, I simply follow Wikipedia:Closing_discussions#When_to_close_discussions that "when further contributions are unlikely to be helpful" since discussion is been moved to ANL. If you do think the close of discussion is wrong, I will treat this as challenging of a closing and I will agree with you. -- VulpesVulpes825 (Talk) 00:38, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- I understand where you're coming from; it's rare for discussions on template talk pages to be archived. By constrant, the move discussion has to follow its own process and be closed by a third party after some time has passed, and shouldn't be archived until then. Best, Mackensen (talk) 00:40, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

I do not know why you restored archived requests. [1] Can you explain it? Hhkohh (talk) 06:51, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Hhkohh:, it seems when I am editing my request, I used Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection&oldid=881525575 version. You edited the version to archive it just minutes before I submitted my request with the old version without triggering the editing conflict notice. It is just a simple editing conflict accident and I sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by this.-- VulpesVulpes825 (Talk) 07:00, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying. Happy Chinese New Year! Hhkohh (talk) 07:03, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
