Your edit to Stemming algorithm

[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Stemming algorithm. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.

RE: Your comment

[edit]

Thanks, I got your message the first 2 times. It is not at all apparent that any response was expected from me to this unsigned message, unless I wished to argue about it, which I don't. If you felt that I needed to respond, you needed to request a response from me at the beginning instead of continuing to harass me about it.

I am still learning the proper format for making edits, and the time I have available to make contributions to Wikipedia is very limited. I choose to spend that limited time trying to make positive contributions instead of arguing with other contributors. I felt my contribution was positive, or I wouldn't have posted it. You did not feel it was constructive, and deleted it. Fine. I've moved on. Please cease harassing me any further about it and do the same.

Since there's been a bit of disagreement and there seems to be some resentment regarding your disagreement with User:KP Botany, I thought I would stop by and leave you a note. I find it helpful to keep Wikipedia:Etiquette in mind when interacting with other users. I say this for you, not for anyone else—this isn't a warning or anything, just some advice. I'm a big fan of the Wikipedia:Etiquette page, it has helped me avoid frustration in the past. It isn't a list of rules, just advice to help keep calm when things start to bother you. Warning Removal

[edit]

Your talk page is intended to serve as a place to discuss your contributions. It ends up being a sort of a history of the work you've done and the conflicts you've been in, or the praise you've received. It's alright to archive comments or warnings, but blanking your talk page is not considered acceptable, as it is not yours. Please read WP:USERPAGE and WP:TALK. Please instead contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, and please don't continue to blank other users' comments. -Kukini 03:17, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
