[edit]Hello Vrsti. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Jasper Deng (talk) 22:34, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]I don't think the editor you ran into really cares to help you, some editors are pissy. Anyways, I suggest you take your concerns to wp:an, this is a board that many administrators watch and they will take a look at you problem. When you do this make sure you do disclose your conflict of interest just so people don't think your coming with ill intent. Also you will want to add this link as it shows that the source has been to RSN before where it did not fail ever and was found to be good as long as it's not used to source controversial statements. - Apologies for being bitten by Jasper Deng, as well. He seems to have misunderstood Wikipedia's policy on conflicts of interest. Just to clarify, you are allowed to edit Wikipedia, but it is strongly recommended that you refrain from editing articles that coincide with your topics of interest. If you must edit in your field, as Buttercrumbs said above, you should keep a neutral point of view. Eagles 24/7 (C) 06:11, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with the above. I'd actually encourage you to edit, within the parameters of what is acceptable in order to limit conflicts of interest. - Sitush (talk) 07:05, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
