Accidental deletion of over 16,000 characters of text.
Vrrajkum: On 29-NOV-2015 you made this edit but it appears you accidentally deleted over 16,000 characters of text from the article without explanation. I have corrected the problem but please be more careful when editing articles and always leave a clear and detailed description of your edit (beyond the default provided by Visual Editor) in the Edit Summary. Thank you. Koala Tea Of Mercy (KTOM's Articulations & Invigilations) 06:52, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Please use the Edit Summary field
Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks!
Moving or copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Socialism into Socialism (economic system). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. --Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:08, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

Reliable sources
You added a reference to the lead of Confirmation bias, a Featured Article. Unfortunately, that book is by VDM Publishing who are notorious for copying their books from.... Wikipedia. That was a circular reference. See WP:ALPHASCRIPT and WP:PUS. Check Google Book hits carefully before using them as a source. Fences&Windows 00:43, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Fences and windows: I was not aware of VDM's reputation, but wanted to add that I was the one who originally added the sentence "It is a type of cognitive bias and a systematic error of inductive reasoning." from VDM in 2014 (I did not have a Wikipedia account back then). VDM did not copy that sentence, at least, from Wikipedia, if that's what you are suggesting. Vrrajkum (talk) 21:26, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- VDM is also the source that I used to rephrase the lead sentence from "favor information" to "search for or interpret information", also in 2014. Vrrajkum (talk) 21:38, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- Of course you weren't aware or you'd not have used the source. This is how they make money out of buyers, especially libraries - they dupe people. Yes, VDM did copy it from Wikipedia and you using VDM as a source merely reinserted old wording originally found in Wikipedia itself. See this old version of the article from October 2009, for example. Please don't use VDM/Alphascript/Betascript books as a source. Fences&Windows 22:02, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions. You commented in the discussion about whether to use ISIS or ISIL. Four hours later, having received no reply there, you modified the article per your viewpoint on the matter. That is not how it works, especially at an article under the ArbCom remedies. I would suggest that you self-revert and continue to participate in the discussion. ―Mandruss ☎ 18:13, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
I have (I think) reverted all of this edit. Again, please do not make edits to content under discussion. ―Mandruss ☎ 22:09, 11 February 2017 (UTC)

- @ManKnowsInfinity: Why do you feel that the Michelangelo statue should be mentioned? It's true, but to me it seems like an excessive degree of detail for a plot summary. Vrrajkum (talk) 21:57, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
- The reviews in the Critical reviews section of the article by Edelstein and Wilkinson are both in agreement as to the depiction of David as a Frankenstein monster in the film, Wilkinson even compares him to "Satan" in her review. The only hint the film gives of this level of malevolent behavior in David early in the film is his choice of King David, the King of Israel, as a role model for himself. That seems notable as an indication of the extremity of David's malevolence which appears later in the film and as summarized by Edelstein and Wilkinson.
