Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Converting to automated taxoboxes
[edit]Hi, it's good to see edits like this one, but do please leave an edit summary. I generally say "Use Speciesbox for consistent taxonomy". Peter coxhead (talk) 10:02, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hi. Yeah, sorry about those. I was a bit worried about not having written them, too. It was a mistake on my part, I did try to remember to write something to later edits. It's easy to forget to add an edit summary, as after making the changes I want to look at the preview, but to do so I must press publish changes. Then there is the box to write the summary and the link to preview. If I press the preview first and all looks good, I still have to remember to go back to the summary box and not press publish immediately. Took the visual editor off now (was unable to even edit this, the blue bar just got stuck) and added the option to prompt me about blank summaries. I'll do better in the future. Voltteri (talk) 18:29, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
- Do as I say and not as I do applies; I don't always remember. :-) Peter coxhead (talk) 20:47, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
