[edit]Hello Revent,
First off, THANK YOU! It looks very nice now thanks to your guidance and your help in formatting of the stub article.
Also: Frank Espada was (is) exceptionally “revered” in the art world for his technological prowess in the darkroom, indeed so much that his students gathered and created a group and they named themselves “SOFA” (SOFA was an acronym for Students Of Frank[espada]’s Associated). The group existed circa 1990-1992 (approximate dates of two-year-long group life) in San Francisco. Additional splinter even more refined but unnamed groups and others came after SOFA’s decimation. SOFA had a SOFA Group Show, at First Unitarian Church Art Gallery, San Francisco, in September–October 1990. SOFA presented a thank-you group self-portrait to Frank at the reception. This same thank-you gift (an 11x14 black-and-white photograph mounted framed group self-portrait) was also at Frank’s memorial with family and friends as well in Pacifica in 2014. I will try to find sources so as to better footnote that “revered” literally in Frank Espada’s case was and is an extreme understatement of fact. Because I do not personally do Facebook etc I am limited in quickly finding sources but I KNOW they exist, please give me time. At his memorial his students spoke of the Frank Espada “test strips” and other things publicly and privately and how we all moved forward because of his sharing of his particular darkroom and artwork exhibition how-to’s.
Have a wonderful day, and thank you again, Voglioimparare2 (talk) 20:30, 26 September 2014 (UTC)voglioimparare2
(FYI, voglioimparare2 was created when voglioimparare, who is also me, didn’t know how to proceed on a second stub article when first one existed there up for review in my sandbox) Voglioimparare2 (talk) 20:30, 26 September 2014 (UTC)voglioimparare2
